ABOUT ME

Maia Gerdes is a Musical Theatre Performer from Austin, TX. She is currently pursuing a BFA in Musical Theatre from Nebraska Wesleyan and will graduate in May.

Her love of performance started with an inherited passion for singing from her mother, some great choir teachers, and dance classes at the local dance studio. This is her twelfth year performing!

​

Maia has the versatility to play incredibly different roles and some of her favorites have been Madame in Cinderella, Scary Big Kid in Matilda, Deb in Elf, and the Squirrel Ensemble in The Squirrels.

​

She currently has the pleasure of participating in the ensemble of The Lighting Theif  while also understudying the role of Clarisse.
